Great quiet hiking spot South of Banchory Devenick Primary School. Nice trail loop marked only by red/orange/white carrot bags tied to tree branches that eventually provides nice views of Aberdeen and Deeside. Parking Spot/Trail head is located just South of the Primary School at a small space on the side of the road across from the 'Westside' property entrance.
Located along a nice & quiet trail loop marked only by red/orange/white carrot bags tied to tree branches. Most direct trail to the cache turns right not far from the trailhead/road and is not easy to spot. From there, keep your eye open for carrot bag pieces tied to the trees to mark the trail. These were provided by a nice man that walks his dog regulary in this area. The actual location of the cache is not too far from the West side of the Banchory Devonick primary school, but it requires a fair hike from the parking spot and focus to ensure you stay on the trail.
Medium size plastic container has a sign-in book and a number of goodies selected by our kids.
