Skrzynka ukryta jest niedaleko pomnika Ryszarda Wincentego Berwińskiego w Zaniemyślu. Ten poeta doby romantyzmu urodził się w 1819 r. w Polwicy koło Zaniemyśla. Był niezwykle barwną postacią, działaczem konspiracyjnym, biorącym udział w walkach o wolność, więzionym przez zaborców. Wyjechał w 1855 do Konstantynopola, gdzie służył w wojsku tureckim. Tam zmarł w 1879 r. w biedzie i zapomnieniu. Mieszkańcy jego rodzinnych stron wystawili mu pomnik odsłonięty w 1979 r. Poeta jest też patronem Zespołu Szkoły Podstawowej i Gimnazjum.
