Waterlillimm: Seems there are enough cachers in Deep River to look out for the best interest of other geocachers. I relent. This cache has been removed. I only hope that others will place caches in this beautiful town.

A Geocache that can be fun to find anytime of year, but a lot more fun during the winter when you are looking for a great reason to be outdoors. All caches in this series are kid and winter friendly! Please ensure the container is tightly sealed and replaced securely. Lots of fun stash to exchange. FTF, 2nd to find, 3rd to find all will have a prize
The Town of Deep River is a community with activites for all seasons. There are as many fun things to see here in the winter. The vistas that spread from one end of the town to the other make geocaching a great way to see all the little hidden gems in this town. Tobaggan hills, Ski Hills, Curling, Skating X-Country etc.. As a former resident , winters were as much fun as the summer was. We now love watching our 8 grandchildren that live here make use of all the facilities and all the fun each season brings. This cache will take you to an area of town that has an abundance of visitors any season of the year. Winter for some, Summer for others! Unless you knew where you were driving to, it would be difficult to guess that this place existed. If searching for this cache in the winter, please dress properly and be prepared for deep snow!
