Tourists staying at the nearby resorts take this trail down to the beach every day. As a 20 year resident of the area, I only found out about this path a few weeks ago when we went on a short walk after eating at a restaurant close by. The resorts might want to keep it a secret, but this beach trail and the stairs down the cliff to the beach are open to the public.
For my first geocache hide I wanted to place a larger container in a beautiful place, but this nice little trail had no good spot to hide anything larger than a micro. Undaunted, I decided to create some camoflage to hold the 12 oz sized jar. Do not damage or destroy any part of the trail or unscrew or unbolt anything. No TOTT needed. Please return the container to the place you found it hidden. The cache is reachable from the trail. No need to leave the path and be careful to not go anywhere near the steep cliff edge. Beware of the many beach-going muggles and enjoy the view.
