Drago Galić (1907 - 1992), was a Croatian architect and university professor. After finished technical school, he worked at Hugo Ehrlich studio, and then he worked few years at studio Denzler and Kauzlarić, where he met professor Drago Ibler. Influenced by Ibler, he finished Academy, and worked together with Ibler, until 1939, when he started with his own studio.
His most successful work period was after WW2, when he designed some of his most important buildings, such as two Courbieser – influenced buildings in Vukovarska, or building on the corner of Svačićev trg.
This cache has brought you in front of one of his two Courbieser – influenced buildings in Vukovarska. Due to the close proximity of other caches, this was only possible position, so you have to go for a few steps north, from the cache position, to see SW side of the building.
Since there is another Galić's building in the same street, on the number 35, we recommend a short walk…
