Geocache Description:

(BASE OF CONTAINER SCREWS OFF/ON)

Short Round:  What is Shankara?

Indiana Jones:  [go on . . . say it with me]  Fortune and glory, kid.  Fortune and glory.

You are looking for a small brown cache that should also be fun to find after sunset.  (It is a Sankara Stone, after all).  Many thanks to Park naturalists Emily Hiatt and William Hagenbuck, III for allowing the placement of this geocache (they are aware of the need to go a bit off trail, beyond posted signage).

CONGRATULATIONS TO TSJS2013 ON BEING THE FTF THIS CACHE!

Mola Ram:  You were caught trying to steal the Sankara Stones.  There were five stones in the beginning.  Over the centuries, they were dispersed by wars, sold off by thieves like you.

Indiana Jones:  Thieves like me, huh?  Ha!  You're still missing two.

Mola Ram:  A century ago, when the British raided this temple and butchered my people, a loyal priest hid the last two stones down here in the catacombs. . . . Soon we will have all the five Sankara Stones, and the Thuggees will be all-powerful.

Indiana:  What a vivid imagination.

Mola Ram:  You don't believe me?  You will, Dr. Jones.  You will become a true believer.

This is the eighteenth of my Indiana Jones-themed caches.  It is the 4th of the five Sankara Stones.  The other Hobbits and I have hiked around the beautiful, evolving trail system in this park for years.  Truly peaceful, kid friendly, and FREE!  I thought the bridges, creek valleys, and twists and turns of the trails were a good "mine car" connection to The Temple of Doom.  Please note the following Martin Nature Park Hours:
