This cache has a nostalgic place in my heart. Nearly five years ago, I was an avid horseback rider. My horse's name was Comet, hence the caching name Cometrider. A neighbor allowed me to make some trails on his property, and I was in need of a GPSr to map out my course. In the process of researching different units, I stumbled across an advertisement for geocaching.com. It stirred my interest, and as soon as I purchased a GPSr, I set out to find these things called geocaches. And as they say, the rest is history. My very first find was located just about a hundred feet from where this one now resides. I wanted to use the same place, but another cache is located near here, so I had to accommodate it. The original was named "Behind The Screens" (GC1TQWK) and is now archived. I recently ran across it while researching some archived caches. WELL, NOW IT IS RESSURRECTED!
I'm sure there are those who try out this sport and, although they enjoy it, they can take it or leave it. For me, it's like a drug. I was addicted the day I found the one located near this spot, and I still look forward to any opportunity to get out and find more. It's such a wonderful sport and has afforded me many great friends I probably would not have met otherwise, not to mention taking me to some interesting and beautiful places. So whether this is your 1st find or your 10,000th, I hope you enjoy and continue to enjoy this fascinating sport of geocaching! HAPPY CACHING!!!
