Potato Hill is a new Civil War Battlefield Park with great views once up top especially when the leaves are gone.. The trail is 600 yards UP but well worth it. The trail going up is small reminds me of a mountain goat trail lol so make sure you have appropriate shoes and some water especially in warmer weather. The park is open from dawn to dusk at free of charge. At the beginning of the trail they have a small covered picnic table and trash bin so please pack out what you pack in. You will be looking for a dry box, please rehide back really well so it doesn't get discovered by just anyone.
