Geocache Description:

This is a quick little P&G. There are some great views in these rolling hills. If the name of the Property nearby rings a bell, I've heard them often mentioned as a local PBS Radio doner. Anyway, my Mesozoic Madness #12 hide has been muggled, so this is a replacement, though not at all near the original.

You will find a little frog fossil here. This amphibian appeared 245 million years ago during the Triassic Period. The Triassic was the first and oldest period, followed by the Jurassic and Cretateous periods of the Mesozoic Era. Dinosaurs were just beginning to evolve. The frogs are a great demonstration of a well designed species that certainly has staying power! Enjoy a short study of this amazing creature!

Bring a pen, also, no room for swag in this one.
