Geocache Description:

We looked for a good site for a cache in this wide open space area which is cache poor.

The location is at an intersection and you need to watch for oilfield truck traffic at times.   You can pull off the road to park easily.  This is in the middle of one of the oldest and perhaps largest oilfields in Texas.  A few miles west is the little oilfield town of Sundown.  Sundown is noted for it's excellent school district, excellent in large part because of it's tax base, so it has a high dollar/student ratio.  If you are a stranger to these parts, you will notice a large number of pumpjacks, feeding the piplelines with crude oil that will become your gasoline.  The container is an oblong tube.  Watch for the cockleburrs.  If they get in your shoe strings they are a pain.  And if you have velcro shoe straps that is worse.  Cockleburrs were the inspiration for velcro, so they stick together.
