*gln: ### ARCHIVING CACHE ###

Since you haven't repaired your cache I can only assume that your priorities have changed and you’ve gone in a different direction.

While I feel that we should hold the location for you we can't do so forever.
If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the VERY near future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Thanks,
*gln, Mongo

Geocache Description:

Cache is hidden in a natural looking container meant to blend in with surroundings. This area will reward you with a gorgeous view of the Missouri River Bottom.

This cache is located in the August G Beckemeir Conservation Area in the city of Chesterfield.   August G Beckemeir CA was donated to the Missouri Department of Conservation by Minna Waldmann in 1996.  The 54 acre area is named after Mrs. Waldman's father who purchased the land in 1905.

There is parking right off of Olive and a gravel trail begins by parking lot and is marked. The 3/4 mile loop trail is rated easy and overlooks the Missouri River bottom and is especially scenic in the wintertime when leaf cover is minimal..  The trail itself can be very slippery in wet conditions so caution is advised.

The cache is located off the  trail and requires less than  100 feet of light bushwacking to reach, less in winter of course than in summer.  The park is open from 4 AM to 10 PM.  Because of the terrain, it is recommended that this cache be hunted during the daylight.

FIRST TO FIND will be rewarded with a travel bug! Congratulations to TeamBMZ for FTF!

**We have received a Special Permit from the Missouri Department of Conservation beginning Feb 17, 2015. SUP Permit # 2015-02 **
