Geocache Description:

Allen C. Mason created the Tacoma Trolley Line in the 1890's. It ran from Downtown Tacoma to Point Defiance Park.  At one stop along the route, if riders wanted to continue on to Point Defiance Park, they would have to pay an extra nickel to do so. Many chose not to and got off the trolley at this location, and walked to Point Defiance Park from here. This is why this location is called Poor Mans Corner.

Please limit caching hours from 8 am to 8 pm, this is a busy neighborhood area.

The only parking available is in the neighborhood areas, please watch for cars!

Bring a TOTT to get the log out, and you may want gloves for the prickly bushes.

Have Fun!

Placed with permission of the homeowner.
