My sister and I wanted to make a cache dedicated to the elementary that we both went to as children. Spring Valley Elementary School gave us many great childhood memories and we still can't get over the fact that it had to shut its doors in 2011 due to low student enrollment. This school not only gave me great memories as a child, but the teachers who taught me at this school inspired me to become the teacher that I am today. So this cache is also dedicated to all of them! The school currently operates as Pivot Charter School and as a civil air patrol school, but the Golden Feather Union School District still has the rights to this site. Maybe one day the Spring Valley Dragons will be brought back to life and bring many new childhood memories to future elementary children. I hope that you enjoy your visit at this lost, but not forgotten elementary school. *NOTE: Coordinates are deliberately placed on the parking lot to make you spend more time looking at this lovely school. The cache is located in the front of the school somewhere.
