Where has my "Country" gone?

When my family and I moved out this way about four years ago, there was only two small developments on this entire road.  We wanted to get out of the city but it is starting to look like the city followed us.  My chickens are starting to get too scared to even think about crossing the road.  Oh well, maybe I'll develop my 15 acres and move further out.  Anybody interested in a .15 acre lot to put your McMansion on?  devil
