popeye*: Hier ist leider Schluß !!
Der zuständige Reviewer und auch das HQ in Seattle genehmigen eine Verlegung des Cache in meine HomeZone nicht. Schade.
Der Cache wird trotzdem wiederkommen - nur die vielen Favi's sind erstmal Futsch.

Wie funktioniert so ein Postamt?

  1. Nimm dir eine Postkarte (oder bring deine eigene Postkarte mit)
  2. Schreibe ein paar nette Zeilen und den GC-Code sowie die PLZ oder die Region eines deiner favorisierten Caches drauf – evtl. ja von einem guten GC-Freund oder einem Cache, an den Du Dich ganz besonders gerne erinnerst.
    Beispiel: GC2000C „Lost-in-MV“ 18311 Pütnitz
    Der „Zielcache“ sollte natürlich groß genug sein, um deine Postkarte empfangen zu können, d.h: mindestens Größe Small haben.
  3. Lege Deine Karte in das passende Regionenfach.
  4. Jetzt schau Dir die Fächer an und überlege, ob Du evtl. einer oder mehrerer Postkarten bei Ihrer Reise helfen kannst. Wenn ja, dann nimm diese einfach in deren Zielrichtung mit.
  5. Jetzt drücke Deinen Stempel in das Logbuch (Tür Rechts) und dann kannst du natürlich auch Dein persönliches Büchlein mit dem Stempel des „LOST-GC-Postamt“ abstempeln.
  6. Der Briefkasten (Tür Links) ist für diejenige Post gedacht, welche hierher gesendet werden soll. Evtl. lohnt es sich, auch mal hier hinein zu schauen.


Diese Postkarten sind keine offiziellen Trackables!! Sie können aber ebenso direkt oder von Cache zu Cache reisen.

Send LOST greetings to a geocache of your choice

Welcome to our LOST post office

How does it work?

  1. Take a postcard (or bring your own)
  2. Write a few lines, add the GC code and postal code or region of your favorite cache.
    Example: GC2000C "Lost in MV" 18311 Pütnitz
    The target cache should be large enough to hold your postcard once it arrives, so it should at least be a small.
  3. Put your postcard into the right compartment.
  4. Take a look at the other compartments. Maybe there's one or more postcards you'd like to help on their journey. If so, take them along.
  5. Now place your stamp into the logbook (right door) and stamp your own book with that of this LOST post office
  6. The mailbox (left door) is meant for any mail to be delivered to this area. Wanna take a look?

Postcards are no official trackable items. They may, however, travel directly or from cache to cache.
