This cache is in Cow Country. There were so many cows and farms in this area that it was necessary to build a school - for the kids on the farms, not the cows.
This building was the Independence School. It is now a business office for a friend of mine. He offered the opportunity to place a cache here. The farm across NW Miner Road belongs to another classmate of ours. One of my relatives used to have the farm down the hill. He was old enough that his children may have gone to school here.
I know some people hate pine tree caches so I will let you know right now that this cache is NOT a pine cone in a pine tree. Enjoy!
