Hound Dog Tor
This cache is part of the M.T. Promises series. Be sure to make a note of the clue contained on the log.
This is also a late supplement to the Infinity Tor series. It is a tribute to elvis_weasel, the only cacher who has completed the Tor series without an honorary summit in his name. Discrepancy resolved!
The cache is located (quite a ways) further up the Spine of Grandeur ridge. The "easiest" way to get there is from the west, passing the Spine puzzle cache on the way. Alternatively, you could hike up the main west ridge of Mt. Grandeur, wisely grabbing another M.T. Promises series cache on the way, M.T. Thomases, to the summit of Mt. Grandeur and then down to this cache, making a Grand loop indeed. Or, hike to the summit of Mt. Grandeur from Church Fork in Millcreek Canyon and then down (quite a ways) to Hound Dog, passing Chubs on the way. Lots of options!
There is minimal bushwhacking, so shorts should work nicely for the hike if it's warm.
In keeping with the anti-match-tube theme of the series, you have Matia's word as a hound dog that this cache is NOT a match tube!
