I decided to place a cache "in honor" my newly replaced knee. It's amazing how "routine" the surgery has become. I went into surgery not knowing if it would be full or partial knee replacement. I asked the surgeon "You mean you open me up and then go to the shelf and pick out parts that you need?" His reply was "Yep, that's pretty close to it". Well surgery was followed by a few days in the hospital, physical therapy at home and then in a facility. Now I'm on my own to keep it going.
The cache is close to a park-and-grab but stealth is needed during hours the facility is open, many people coming and going. Parking is at a premium at times. You can usually park close.
On the cache, please do not take the named items. The log is in the green tube. You do not have to remove the cachetainer from its hidey spot, just unscrew the bottom. Make sure it is put back together snuggly to keep the log dry.
Night caching is probably not recommended.
