This cache is located in the Catholic area of the Cootamundra cemetery. The cemetery is located just on the outskirts of Cootamundra, turn left just before crossing the bridge coming from Harden.
To find the cache you need to park your car in the little parking area near the gate to the Catholic area. Walk through the gate and go left......The cache is in memory of a childhood friend of mine who was tragically killed on his pushbike whilst riding with a friend, on Saturday 29 May 1976. We were all still in Primary school and it was such a sad loss and the community was devastated. Simon loved cricket and enjoyed life, he did very well at school and had many firends.
The cache container is small ??? size and can be located not far from his grave , Don't forget to bring your own pen. Please ensure that you place back in it's original hiding place. Whilst there why not take time to walk around and look at the magnificent historical gravestones in the cemetery. Why not visit the lawn cemetery while you are there and find 'Nanna "Angel" Ward' cache. We hope you enjoy this amazing cemetery.
