Geocache Description:

An easy local cache close to few others in the area. Good spot for plane spotting if you like that kind of thing. There is a noise monitoring station close by.

The 39 Steps is a 1935 British thriller film directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Loosely based on the 1915 adventure novel The Thirty-Nine Steps by John Buchan, the film is about a man in London who tries to help a counter-espionage agent prevent an organisation of spies called The 39 Steps from stealing top secret information. When the agent is killed and he stands accused of the murder, he goes on the run with an attractive woman to save himself and stop the spy ring.

I have read the book, seen the play and watched the film, the number 25 bus route (featured in the film) is one I have used often when in London. It is a great route and one that operated the old open back type bus long after most of that fleet had been replaced.

The cache is placed within an area of a desert patch frequented by dog walkers and is therefore available at any time.  It is quite close to Mirdif City Centre and a few other caches, there is a busy road near this cache so please take care with children and dogs. There is a small right turn that will take you right to the cache site.

Please do not post photos of the container and any virtual logs will be deleted so please please please bring your own pen. Thanks.
