The Heckscher Museum of Art Extension Traditional Cache

The Heckscher Museum of Art is named after its benefactor, August Heckscher, who in 1920 donated 185 works of art to be housed in a new Beaux-Arts building located in Heckscher Park, in Huntington, New York.

Directions: Heckscher Park is located at Prime Avenue and Route 25A, which is east of New York Avenue in Huntington Village. There is parking available at the west and north ends of the park. GZ is Southeast of the museum, about as far south as you can go (in) the park, right near route 25a. You can also park on 25a (near the church) and walk through the gate and turn left.
