Välkommen till Jättens tår!
Det finns två förklaringar till varför stenarna står här, och vi börjar med legenden jag hörde som barn:
Det sägs att en jätte lagt sig här för att sova någon gång i den grå forntiden, med huvudet på Gråberga i söder och med fötterna där stenarna nu står. Av någon anledning blev han störd i sin sömn, men han hade då sovit så länge att han tappade två av sina tår då han reste sig upp -och här står dom kvar än idag.
Den andra förklaringen är att stenarna är rester av en domarring från brons- eller järnålder, men du får själv välja vilken av förklaringarna du vill tro på ;-)
OBS: Cachen finns inte vid stenarna.

Legend # 2: Om du fortsätter norrut på vägen mot Undenäs passerar du efter ca 1,5 km torpet "Lurn" på höger sida av vägen. Det sägs att det var på denna plats en vallpojke blåste i sin lur och mötte en flicka som precis som han överlevt digerdöden. Stora delar av bygden låg öde efter pesten på 1350-talet.
Welcome to Jättens tår! (the Giants toes)
There are two explanations to why the stones are here, let's start with the legend I heard as a child:
Once in the distant past a giant laid down to rest here, with his head at Gråberga in the south and with his feet here, where the stones now stand. For some reason he got disturbed in his sleep, but he had slept so long that he lost two of his toes as he got up -and they still stand here.
The other explanation is that the stones are the remains of a stone circle from the bronze- or iron ages. Anyway I leave it up to you to decide which explanation you want to believe in ;-)
NB: The cache is not at the stones.
Legend # 2
If you continue north towards Undenäs you will soon (about 1,5 km) pass the cottage "Lurn" (The Horn) on the right side of the road. The story tells that this was the place where a shepherd boy blew his horn and met with a girl, who just like him had survived the black death. This part of the country was very sparsely populated due to the plague in the 1350:s
