Before Trunk Road morphed into its current, streamlined form, it was a winding, narrow way through dense woods. One icy day, DeRanger slid around a corner and hit a tree in the ditch of the old road. That dented tree stands near this cache.
The Best place to park is where the 4-wheeler/snowmachine trail crosses Forestwood. Walk up into the old roadbed from the former Trunk Road route, and find this cache! (Watch for Muggles, in the summer especially.)
