Geocache Description:

We placed a few caches in Wildwood Canyon Open Space in the heart of the Newhall community that covers about 95 acres above the intersection of the I-5 & Hwy 14 freeways. If you look at the geocaching map you'll find that there are a few ways to access this area, although the real trailhead is found on Haskell Vista Lane. Be mindful of where you park. You're looking for a round cammo'd container.

Trails are unpaved and are available for equestrian, hiking, and mountain bike use.....trail etiquette is: bikers yield to hikers & horses, and hikers yield to horses. Trails are open from sunrise to sunset, no motorized vehicles, and dogs must be leashed. This Open Space area supports the city's ongoing effort to create a greenbelt around Santa Clarita, preserve Open Space and oak woodlands, and connect to existing wildlife corridors.
