Geocache Description:

This is the Cole Loop Trail cache Series. It starts with #1 at the Scull Hollow Cole Loop Trailhead and heads west and hopefully will eventually do the whole loop which is over 20 miles around. Originally I started the series at the watering troughs where # 7 is (which use to be #1) and went up almost to the Gray Butte to Smith rock series. So if you already logged the original #1 threw #5 you will still be on the logs (and have your smiley) for those caches since the name is changed but the cache and GC code is still the same. The caches are all around .2 miles apart, with some closer and some farther apart. They are all small containers with just enough room for a log so bring your writing stick. Most are within 5 to 10 feet of the trail and some you can reach from the trail.

To start with #1, take the Lone Pine road to NF-1395 and follow your GPS to the Cole Loop #1 cache.

As always replace cache as you found it and have a great hike.

Congratulations to globaltreckers on the FTF
