The first stage of this is hidden in plain sight and may be considered a gadget cache, though not nearly as creative as the ones by WVTim. Please put everything back exactly as you found it. Note that as of time of placement (Feb 28, 2015), they are doing a significant amount of construction at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds site next door. The gate is about 100 feet away from Stage 1 and there are military guards there that may ask you what you're doing. Simply say you are geocaching in the State Park. They followed me along the fence trail when I went to check to see how frozen the Gunpowder was.
This area gets pretty busy when it warms up in Spring up until it gets really cold so watch for muggles.
The final isn't very far. Both stages will be findable in the snow. Take a seat and consider where I might hide the final.
BTW, the final is a reused container that I CITO'd from the original hide of Elk Ridge Landing. Three DNFs and people assumed it was missing so it was replaced and adopted out. I'm glad to have a chance to use it after almost 4 years.
Please clean up any trash left around GZ. I get down here often to do it myself, but would appreciate the help.
