Goldwell Geode Traditional Cache

This cache is my 2nd art themed cache and is located near the entrance of the Goldwell Open Air Museum on the road to Rhyolite, NV.  The cache is a handmade ceramic rock-like sculpture with a small log inside.

As an artist and lover of geological features I find this area stimulating. I love the natural beauty of the landscape and how the organic forms are contrasted with the harsh geometric-markings of the mined areas. Colored glass, rusted cans and artifacts from the mining camps mosaic the desert floor. There is much to see if you explore.
