Geocache Description:

Another Hitchcock film basically because the guy was epic and from East London.

The house on the corner opposite has lots of birds in it all singing away frantically.  It always makes me think of this film. Do try and get here to hear them at sunup or sundown.

There has been recent studies to show that crows can recognise human faces, and remember who is nice and who isn't! I suspect someone had a phobia after watching this film, personally!

The Birds is a 1963 suspense/horror film directed by Alfred Hitchcock, loosely based on the 1952 story "The Birds" by Daphne du Maurier. It depicts Bodega Bay, California, which is, suddenly and for unexplained reasons, the subject of a series of widespread and violent bird attacks over the course of a few days. The film features the screen debut of Tippi Hedren. It also starred Rod Taylor, Jessica Tandy, Suzanne Pleshette, and Veronica Cartwright.

The film was written by Evan Hunter. Hitchcock told him to develop new characters and a more elaborate plot, keeping du Maurier's title and concept of unexplained bird attacks.

Alfred Hitchcock makes his signature cameo as a man walking dogs out of the pet shop at the beginning of the film. They were two of his own Sealyham terriers, Geoffrey and Stanley.

The cache is placed within an area of a desert patch frequented by dog walkers and is therefore available at any time.  The area is quite dirty from dog owners who don’t pick up and from the usual array of desert scrap land junk.  Therefore caution is advised.

Nano container, all made from desert junk, so bring your own pen.  Thanks.
