A humble lamppost? Not just a lamppost! This is a heritage lamppost. And despite being in the village conservation area, in 2015 Sutton's heritage lampposts were under threat of being replaced with standard modern ones in the county council's "improvement" plan.
The Parish Council even initially voted to replace the lampposts rather than pay for the upkeep of updating the heads... and then they changed their minds! I for one was very pleased that these lovely pieces will continue to be part of our historic conservation area.
So to show my appreciation, as the song goes.... I liked it, so I... 
It's a very muggle heavy location so please be super stealthy and be careful not to give it away and compromise the hide.
