Many of us met Per and his wife Lena at a meet and greet last spring.
Per has had an exciting year! He went to South America for the World Orienteering Senior Championship for men 35-90 years. He has been orienteering for 40 years. The trip started in Brazil where the championship was held. Then he visited Peru and Ecuador with Galapagos Islands. He also geocached in all the places.
The highlights were Rio de Janeiro, Iguazu Falls, Titicata Lake, Machu Pichu and Galapagos. I'm sure he has lots of great stories to share with us and can let us know the best geocaches in these areas.
Per and I are also planning to do some kayak geocaching while he is here - probably in the Charlotte Harbor area. Please note in your reply if you have a kayak and would be able to join us on March 14 or 15.
