This is a spot that I've enjoyed for years. It used to be very difficult to get to this area, before they put the trail in. I had the final for my Tres Cinco multi around here, to try and get people to discover this little "island".
At the cache location, you are inside a (partial) clover. They've replanted the area with native plants, most of which is rabbitbrush. In the summer, the whole place will be covered with golden flowers.
A good place to park is at the back corner of Fred Meyers. There is a trailhead to the loop behind the gas station. Please be respectful of the landscaping near GZ.
