Challenge Bikeway CITO 2015 Cache In Trash Out® Event

This cache has been archived.

JoyfulNomad: It's time to thank you all for attending our CITO. You did an amazing job! We are working with our "secret" contact to see if we can drop the bags along the trail next year. That would make life easier!

Please remember the GeoTahoe South High Sierra Adventure (GC5QVRQ)coming June 20 and 21 and the Pizza Event (GC5PQJM) on Friday night the 19th . It's so much fun and some of the most beautiful country you'll ever cache in.

More CITO's are coming!
GC5TZ2B May 30 in Gilroy
GC5RV2F June 20 in Alviso
GC5KT74 July 26 in Yosemite

Also, the Yolo Geo Rally has yet to be published but mark your calendars for September 19th. We are planning a full, fun day!

You are always welcome to attend the F.R.O.G.S.(Friendly Regional Organization of Geocache Seekers) events that are the second Tuesday of every month somewhere in the Solano County and the Y.A.C.s (Yolo Area Cachers) who meet the last Thursday of each month, alternating between Woodland and Capay.

Thank you again. We were blessed with all your beautiful smiles so early in the morning and with all the trash you picked up! It was all picked up on Monday so we didn't have to worry about it! The trail looks beautiful!

Geocache Description:

Please join us for breakfast (at 8:30) and some clean up (9:00 to 11:00) of Challenge Bikeway in Vallejo.

Challenge Bikeway is designed for all geocachers.  Some of the challenges are easy, some nearly (but not) impossible.  You are welcome to walk the bikeway and sign all the caches while CITO-ing.  The only catch is you need to post your qualifiers for each challenge to claim the smiley.

We will meet under the tents for breakfast at 8:30am, then walk the bikeway picking up debris.  There are several sections to clean.  Between the Park and Ride and the tents, the beginning of the bikeway and the southern end are all flat areas.  Hardier cachers may want to walk the upper, hilly section.  The entire bikeway is paved.

The bikeway can be windy.  Please dress in layers and bring your CITO tools and gloves.  Bags will be provided.

Please RSVP for an accurate food count.  We could use one more vehicle to help with shuttling between the two ends of the bikeway.

We have been enjoying the bikeway for over two years now.  It's time to give back... and receive a spiffy groundspeak souvenir!
