A short rainforest walk which takes around 30 minutes, with a cache!
The Julius River rainforest walk will take you beside the river, up through the forest and back to the carpark. It will take you through a mossy myrtle forest with a track built with manferns trunks - something not seen often these days.
You are looking for a large ammo box cache.
Head uphill when you come to a circular log slice covered in green moss in the centre of the walking track. Located just off the main track - about 8m, hidden in a tree stump with some camo in front.
The walk starts at the end of the parking area, with two options to the start of the track. When I placed the cache, the signposted start is the track to the right, going in an anti-clockwise direction. You can start either by taking this track or walk past the sign to the left and do the track clockwise. The track is a little indistinct in some places and shouldn't be attempted at night.
Facilities here include a toilet, double gas BBQs and a wood fired BBQ, along with a shelter shed. The carpark is larg enough to take numerous cars and even a mobile home or 2. There is also an hour return walk to a sinkhole starting at the road end of the car park.
Edited 13FEB17 to include accurate placement. Thanks to 2y's for this advice. Removed hint and updated coords as well
