Yes, it is that time again for the 10th annual River City Geocaching & Dining Society's Picnic In The Park event at Micke Grove Park. The entrance is located N 38 05.123 W 121 16.160. There is an ENTRY FEE for cars and pets. It will be at the same covered area that we have used in the past. Lots of parking, many tables, close restrooms and a play area for the micro geocachers. This is normally our celebration of the end of winter and a kickoff for our picnic season, however, winter seems ever so elusive lately. Yet, you never know what the weather will be like at the event.
The event will be from 10am - 2pm. It is still a POTLUCK PICNIC.
Bring you favorite dish to share. There will be a BBQ ready at 11:45.
Bring your own drinks. The plates and etc. will be provided.
10am to Noon will be the social time and cache hunting. New caches will be available again and hopefully published on time (sorry about that last year). Lunch will be at Noon and at 1pm will begin the announcements and Raffle.
Please bring items for the raffle. There will be a 50-50 drawing also A TB box will be avaiable. Please remember to log the trackables!
