This is a micro cache that is camouflaged a bit. I placed this on a rainy dark day so I was uninterupted by muggles. You may not be so lucky as this is a very popular route for runners, bikers and walkers. PLEASE be careful to not give away the location to muggles. You'll have to time your discovery just right in order to find and sign the log.

Many people enjoy the SVT without really knowing much about its history. If you try to search for information about it on the internet, you don't find much. The best way to learn more about it is to walk it. It was an old railroad track and in certain sections, you can even see some of the rails discarded in the woods or still buried, partially visible, along the route. Placards along the way show old photos of the railway while providing some history. You can't walk the SVT without noticing how perfect it would have been for a railroad route: straight and with a gradual grade of no more than 2%.
