I recommend to leave the car in Aberlour, cross the footbridge and start the circular at GC5EV2Q, follow uphill to your right to GC5ERAW but than turn left ....
Find out what is behind these "Doors to the Past". What used to be here?
Have a closer look near the 'source of life' at this site - there is still a very special flower in this Secret Garden which holds the coords for the final. You might to stretch a bit, but there are some remains you can use to 'climb'.
The Final is not too far away!
In case you are still in the caching mood, why don't you do the 'Beauty of Speyside'-Series. Just follow the path near the GC5N40M further uphill to GC5N40B. It is a beautiful circular walk between Aberlour and Archiestown.
It will take you to some amazing sites with breathtaking views.
You will see the lovely rural countryside, very old trees (I hope the will not fell them as well ...), idyllic farmhouses.
The longer loop will take you to the banks of the River Spey and the "Fisherman's Path".
Enjoy !!! Happy Caching!!!
WELL DONE - Congratulations to GCUK for being the FTF :-)
