Everybody knows, that there is nothing that is simply BLACK & WHITE, right?
Is it possible to still buy a blood-RED orange?
MUSHROOM is definitely not a colour.
PURPLE, that’s not a patch, is it?
TEAK is wooden but I refuse to consider it a colour.
PINK to make the girls blink or blush, go figure?
There is no such thing as a true BLUE except if one is from Dublin, of course.
Plainly, MAROON is just lost as a colour, but what about macaroon?
So, too, is GRAY lost and it’s a tiny bit shady, to boot.
Chicken means YELLOW or cowardly, and is usually free range.
Yummy CREAM simply isn’t a colour at all, is it?
As for KHAKI, that’s one helluva mixed up colour.
Jimmy was a good snooker player but he was not whiter than WHITE?
Did you know that if you wave a RED rag at a bull you will make him angry, but he is colour-blind, so try waving a rag of a different colour at him and see what happens?
And finally, Hector sold his goods on Dublin’s Ha’penny Bridge, but was he GREY or GRAY?

4. Take a seat and rest awhile...you will be sitting on the cache.
