Consisting of 119 acres of wetlands, woodlands and meadows, Black Rock Sanctuary is dedicated to wildlife habitat and public use. You are entering Black Rock Sanctuary. A reclaimed area from coal silt dredging operations turned in to beautiful Meadows, wetlands and wetland plants. So valuable to our fragile eco-System.
Park in the lot as shown. Easy walk along The Interpretive Trail. Check out all the informational signage and enjoy your afternoon. You are looking for a Hanging Bison Tube available year round but in accordance to the park rules.
