The Rescue Trail series is intended to bring you to enjoy one of the popular trails in Hong Kong and grab as many caches as possible in one time (跑數). There are a total of 17 caches which are not difficult to cachers with some experiences of rural caches.
The Ngong Ping 360 Rescue Trail is intended to provide access for maintenance and emergency rescue for the Ngong Ping 360 cable car system linking Tung Chung with Ngong Ping. It comprises a series of specially constructed concrete and stone footpaths, steps and timber boardwalks for a length of approximately 5.6km. The trail is open to the public with the provison that it is undertaken at your own risk. If you hike without caching, it will take you 3hr from Ngong Ping to Tung Chung and 4hr from Tung Chung to Ngong Ping. Please check the bus/cable car schedule at Ngong Ping if you prefer to start from Tung Chung.
The cache is a camo and well-hidden in the environment.
