Geocache Description:

Along the old Limey lane the track climbs up from the resevoir, splendid views can be enjoyed on a good day, Hambledon being the prominent point with it's weather station and radio masts. With open moorland away from the valley bottoms forming the surrounding area. A pleasant area in nice weather but can be wild during more inclement times.

The cache is an easy access, bison disguised in an other container. The log also has on it part of the co-ordinates which when all four WH caches are visited give the location of a bonus cache. This is a very popular area with bike and horse riders, dog walkers, runners and walkers. The caches are all located very near to the routes. Not needing to be visited in any particular order allows for a variety of starting points and access routes.

The area has seen attempts to re-instate the woodland which once covered the area but as we get higher the growth rates slow, the bonsai trees are getting slowly taller.
