The Cache is a square sistema type container with room for tradeables and travellers. this is the second cache in the Old Bridges after the Upper Swan Railway Bridge. There is a FTF prize, find cards for all, logbook and writing stick. Enjoy this location with Geo Friends and Family.
I have been visiting this place since before I can remember and many a family BBQ with my parents has been held in the shadow of this old sentinel.So just dont come for the cache find, bring a picnic or BBQ enjoy the surroundings, walk the trails, visit the old railway tunnel, station and work camp remains to the west of the bridge.Not sure if you still can but we used to go swimming in the damned brook to the south east of the bridge.This bridge formed part of the original rail link to the Eastern States of Australia, until the Avon Valley route was constructed and this line was decommissioned and now is a heritage walk and bike trail.
