Dieser Multi führt Euch auf einem ca. 2 km langen Rundweg durch einen Teil von Bredeney, der mir gut gefällt. Auf dieser Runde werdet Ihr auch durch das "Zentrum" von Bredeny gehen. Mit diesem Multi möchte ich Euch einen kleinen Eindruck davon verschaffen. Ich hoffe, er gefällt Euch.
Mit Ausnahme des Finales ist an keiner Station etwas versteckt. An jeder Station sind einfache Zählaufgaben zu absolvieren, um den jeweils zugehörigen Lösungsbuchstaben zu ermitteln. Mit den Lösungsbuchstaben können dann die Koordinaten der nächsten Station bestimmt werden. Abschließend werden die Lösungsbuchstaben benötigt, um die Koordinaten des Finales zu berechnen. Ihr werdet vermutlich ca. 45 Minuten für diesen Multi benötigen.
Der Multi führt durch ein Wohngebiet. Macht diesen Multi deshalb bitte nicht Nachts, um die Anwohner nicht zu stören. Außerdem sind nicht alle Stationen bei Dunkelheit lösbar!
Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es bei den angegeben Koordinaten. Dort sind meistens ein paar Plätze frei.

Start:
An den Start-Koordinaten des Multi angekommen, steht Iht vor einem größeren Gegenstand, der dafür benötigt wird, die umliegenden Straßen mit Strom zu versorgen. Auf dem Transformator ist ein kleine Plakette, die die Hausnummer des Transformators anzeigt. Die Hausnummer ist Lösungsbuchstabe A.
Station 1:

An Station 1 angekommen, steht Ihr vor dem Haupteingang der Goetheschule. Das imposante Schulgebäude wurde 1910 erbaut. So wie ich es gehört habe, stand damals die Eingemeindung Bredeneys bevor und die Gemeinde Bredeney wollte mit ihrem Geld noch etwas für sich erbauen, bevor das Geld in die Stadtkasse Essens einfließen würde. Ob das stimmt oder nicht, sei mal dahin gestellt. Fakt ist, es ist ein wirklich schönes Schulgebäude. Der hohe Turm bestimmt maßgeblich das Erscheinungsbild Essen Bredeneys.
Dreht nun aber dem Gebäude den Rücken zu und schaut Euch die kleine Wiese vor dem Haupteingang an. Dort seht Ihr diverse Abi-Denkmäler. Das Denkmal des Abiturjahrgangs 1992 verweist auf eine andere Gemeinde in NRW. Welche Gemeinde ist das? Der Buchstabenwert des letzten Buchstabens ist Lösungsbuchstabe B.
Station 2:

Ihr seid nun am Wasserturm von Essen Bredeney angekommen. Er wird jedoch nicht mehr als Wasserturm genutzt. Als ich den Wasserturm in den 1990ern zum ersten Mal gesehen habe war er zwar auch schon nicht mehr in Betrieb, aber die heutigen Wohnungen im Wasserturm gab es damals noch nicht. Wie man dort wohl wohnt? Am Eingang des Wasserturms seht Ihr die Hausnummer des Wasserturms. Die Hausnummer ist Lösungsbuchstabe C.
Station 3:
Die Koordinaten von Station 3 lauten N 51° 24.466 , E 006° 59.5[ C+2 ]
Ihr steht nun vor einem kleinen Brunnen. Im Hintergrund könnt Ihr mal wieder den Turm der Goetheschule sehen. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, diesen Brunnen jemals in Betrieb gesehen zu haben. Zur rechten Seite des Brunnens seht Ihr die Rückseiten zwei runder Verkehrschilder. Das obere hat einen Aufkleber mit einer Zahl drauf. Die Zahl ist Lösungsbuchstabe D.
Station 4:
Die Koordinaten von Station 4 lauten N 51° 24.540 , E 006° 59.[ 540+D ]
An Station 4 angekommen, steht Ihr vor einem Haus, das meiner Meinung nach einen besonders schönen Zaun hat. In dem Zaun sind Rosen eingearbeitet. Wieviele Rosenblüten enthällt der Zaun. Die beiden Tore zählen nicht mit. Die Anzahl der Rosen ist Lösungsbuchstabe E. Kleiner Tipp, die gesuchte Zahl ist ein ganzzahliges Vielfaches von 9.
Station 5:
Die Koordinaten von Station 5 lauten N 51° 24.[ 580+E ] , E 006° 59.[ 600+(2*E) ]
Nun steht Ihr vor dem Eingang des Bredeneyer Rathauses. Es wurde 1902 erbaut. Es wurde bis zur Eingemeindung Bredeneys 1915 als Rathaus benutzt. Ich finde, es ist ein beeindruckendes Gebäude. Eine große Treppe führt zu seinem Eingang. Wieviele Stufen müsst Ihr hinauf gehen, um zur großen Ebene vor der Türe zugelangen? Die Anzahl der Treppenstufen ist Lösungsbuchstabe F.
Station 6:

Ihr steht nun vor einem Gebäude auf der "Bredeneyer Straße". In diesem Gebäude ist unter anderem ein Polizeipräsidum untergebracht. Das war nicht immer so. Früher war das Polizeipräsidium in der Graf Bernadotte Straße. Aber zurück in die Gegenwart. Welche Hausnummer hat das Polizeipräsidium? Die Hausnummer ist Lösungsbuchstabe G.
Station 7:
Die Koordinaten von Station 7 lauten N 51° 24.[ 632+G ], E 006° 59.[ (4*G)+26 ]
Ihr steht nun vor der Rückseite eines Bankgebäudes. Früher wurde die Fläche hier als Parkplatz genutzt. Um welches Geldinstitut handelt es sich hier? Falls Ihr es von dieser Stelle aus nicht sehen könnt, geht einfach mal um das Gebäude drum herum. Dann werdet Ihr es mit Sicherheit sehen. Der Buchstabenwortwert des Namens des Geldinstituts ist Lösungsbuchstabe H. Es ist der vollständige Name gesucht, d. h. der Teil vor und der Teil hinter dem Bindestrich des Namens.
Nachdem Ihr nun alle Stationen angesteuert habt, könnt Ihr mit Hilfe unten stehender Formel die Koordinaten des Finales berechnen.

You have to perform easy count-tasks at each of the stations of this Multi to determine the value of the corresponding part of the solution. With these parts of the solution the coordinates of the next station can be determined. Finally, with all parts of the solution together you can determine the final coordinates. The route is approximately 2 km long. You will need around 45 minutes to complete this Multi.

At the beginning you stand in front of a big construction which is necessary to supply the surrounding building with energy. There is a small badge on the transformer with its address. The house number of the transformer is part A of the solution.
Station 1:
The coordinates of station 1 are N 51° 24.5[ A-2 ], E 006° 59.4[ A ]
At station 1 you are in front of the main entrance of the Goetheschule. This impressive building was erected in 1910. As I came to know, the annexation of Bredeney was shortly afterwards and the citizens of Bredeney wanted to spend their money one something for themselves before it was transferred into the general budget of Essen. I do not know, if this is true. However, this building is a really impressive one. The big tower defines the appearance of Bredeney significantly.
Turn around and have a look at the small lawn in front of the building. There you can find monuments of the graduates of this school. The monument of 1992 refers to another city in NRW. To which city does the sign refer to? The value of the last letter of the name is part B of the solution.
Station 2:

You have now reached the water tower of Essen Bredeney. This water tower is no longer in use. It already was no longer in use when I saw it for the first time in the 1990s. However, the current apartments did not exist then either. I wonder how it feels to live in there. You can find the house number of the water tower at its entrance. The number is part C of the solution.
Station 3:

You are now standing in front of a small fountain. You can see the tower of the Goetheschule in the distance. I cannot remember to have ever seen this fountain in use. There are two traffic signs on the right side of the fountain. The upper one has a sticker with a number at its back side. This number is part D of the solution.
Station 4:
The coordinates of station 4 are N 51° 24.540 , E 006° 59.[ 540+D ]
In my opinion, this house has a very special fence. There are roses build into the fence. How many rose blossoms does the fence contain? This number is part E of the solution. Small hint: the number you are looking for is a whole-number multiple of 9.
Station 5:
The coordinates of station 5 are N 51° 24.[ 580+E ] , E 006° 59.[ 600+(2*E) ] You are now standing in front of the entrance of the town hall of Bredeney. It was erected in 1902. It was used as a town hall only until 1915 when Bredeney was annexed to Essen. A huge staircase leads to the entrance. How many steps do you have to climb to reach the great flat in front of the entrance? This number is part F of the solution.
Station 6:

You are in front a building in the street „Bredeneyer Straße“. Amongst others, there is a police department located in this building. Years ago, the police department was located in the street “Graf Bernadotte Straße”. However, let’s go back to the present. What is the house number of the police department? Station 7:

This is the backside of a financial institute. In former times this building did not exist and the place was used as a parking lot. About which financial institute am I talking? The value of the letters of the name is part H of the solution. You are looking for the complete name, that is the name before and after the hyphen.
