Gather in and around a circular object to commemorate the date of 3.14.15 and it's numerical significance. This is a once-in-a-100 year opportunity so don't be irrational and miss out! I was inspired by a comment to schedule this Meet and Greet to bracket the time of 9:26:535, and since we can't have events under 30 minutes any more (like a flash mob at the exact time), this will suffice. In case you are wondering, the date and time works out to be 3.1415926535. This event is also a nod to my late father who, as a self-described nerd, used to know Pi to something like 50 places out. I never shared that much love of the number.
You do not have to be present at the exact Pi time to sign the log, but at 9:26:53, we may have to do the Hokey Pokey so we can turn ourselves about and come full circle... Or we can do Ring Around the Rosie... Okay, maybe I am getting irrational now..
The log will be available the whole time during the event which runs from 0900-1000 and can be signed whenever.
