Another in a series of California-to-New York puzzle caches.
Special Notes about the 2015 Puzzle Challenge: To be considered for Fastest Solver points, you must verify your solution with Certitude. Finders will receive Top Finder points when submitting Found It logs to the cache page. All "point" scoring is arbitrary, subject to change, at the discretion of the cache owner, and probably completely meaningless (unless you just want to be announced sooner at the celebration party on Sunday, December 13th, 2015, and even that might not happen in the right order). The real challenge is just to see whether you can solve all of these caches by the end of the year. To maintain fairness, hints should not be offered by the cache owner or other solvers until the fifteenth of the month.
Special Notes about this month's cache: The puzzle will appear on March 1st. I have not verified that there is a unique solution (although, I'd think that it's rather unlikely that there are two valid solutions). You might want to use the checker to verify before heading out. This might be my favorite trail in the area. The terrain difficulty is dependent on where you enter the trail system. I've rated the terrain based on the entrance I used. The cache itself is not camouflaged and should be rather visible once you get close to it. The log is in a secondary container inside, as I am not confident that the outer container is waterproof.
You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
