October 10, 2015 - container has been replaced with a peanut butter jar and should stay hidden much better than the ammo can.
Parking is available and can be accessed from the main entrance to the Conservation Area on Governor’s Rd. Admission is $10 per vehicle and it’s well worth the price! You can check out the trail centre, the trains, the bird blind and of course, all the trails!
Note: I named the caches as I placed them on a clockwise hike on the trail. The names might not make as much sense if you find them the other way.
I've way-pointed the entrance, parking, and the trailhead
This is the first hide in this series. Cache is an ammo can in a in a likely hiding spot just a few meters off of the road that leads to the trail centre. It should be a very easy find, BUT please make sure to replace the natural camo before you leave. You’ll find that it is jam packed with items for the kids (or kids at heart!) to trade. Please remember to trade items that are of equal or greater value so that future geocachers have lots of good things to choose from! Please bring your own pen to sign the log.
