Well, we found one!
Her feet had gotten
stuck
in some tree sap, and her magic had begun to wear off. That's how we could see her. She is inside a jar now, to keep her safe. Once fairies are seen by humans, their magic is never as strong again. But this doesn't make our fairy sad, because she knew we would take good care of her. Would you please take good care of her, too, if you come to visit?
She even helped us find a great place to hide her!
It's where fairies gather for their parties and celebrations! Our fairy had just enough magic left to help us "see" this place. Otherwise we never would have known it is there... and now she won't be lonely for fairy company anymore!
If you come to visit, she may let you find her.
Just remember: Fairies just love to be flattered.
That means she will like it very much if you say something nice to her, like:
"You have such pretty wings!"
or
"I wish I found a fairy as nice as you!"
We asked our fairy to guard a geocache for us. Please thank her for keeping it safe! And...beware passing muggles on the nearby path. You know muggles can't be trusted with magic folk. Please help keep our fairy's hiding spot secret!
Small cachers will want to bring a grownup along to help you with your footing. They can also take a photo of you in the fairy's secret place! Oh and grownups can help keep an eye out for muggles while you visit with our beautiful fairy in her secret magical place.
Please remember to re-hide the fairy well, when you are finished praising her beauty and logging your find.
