Come visit the bamboo forest!

Bamboo is the largest species of grass in the world and while native to Asia it is considered invasive in North Carolina.  However it is an amazing plant with many uses; including geocache containers!  Your adventure today will take you to a plot of particularly tall ones right here in town.  Please park before or after the guard railing on Judd Parkway or Angier Road. Easiest path is across the street from the fire hydrant on Angier Rd. Head down the steep slope to the lean-to. Watch out for broken glass and rusty metal.
