Geocache Description:

We are celebrating Frito Bandito's 75th Birthday today!

75
(seventy-five) is the natural number following 74 and preceding 76.

In mathematics: 75 is the fourth ordered Bell number, and counts the number of weak orderings on a set of four items.

As the sum of the first five pentagonal numbers, 75 is a pentagonal
pyramidal number.  It is also an enneagonal number.

It is also a Keith number, because it recurs in a Fibonacci-like sequence
started from its base 10 digits: 7, 5, 12, 17, 29, 46, 75...

In recreational mathematics, a Keith number or repfigit number (short for repetitive Fibonacci-like digit) is a number in the following integer sequence:

14, 19, 28, 47, 61, 75, 197, 742, 1104, 1537, 2208, 2580, ....(sequence A007629 in OEIS)
Keith numbers were introduced by Mike Keith in 1987.
They are computationally very challenging to find, with only about 100 known.

There is no integer that added up to its own
digits adds up to 75, hence 75 is a self number.

Excluding the infinite sets,
 there are 75 uniform polyhedra
(or 76 if edges are allowed to coincide).

Some other notable things about the number "75"

There is a proposal to make some highway speed limits 75 MPH instead of 70 MPH

Interstate 75 runs from the Northern part of Michigan to the Southern end of Florida.

The historic path of US Route 75 between Tulsa and the Kansas state line is one of the oldest and most complete driveable bypassed routes remaining in Oklahoma. The entire segment was designated as part of the original State Route 12 in 1925, with all save the portion between Collinsville and Ochelata already paved at that time. The remaining piece was paved by 1926, and the roadway was designated as part of US 75 when the federal routes came into existence in 1927. Since the later four lane highway was constructed along a much straighter path to bypass the towns, the original route has survived essentially unaltered to this day. There is quite a bit of historic infrastructure to enjoy along the way as one travels the relaxing classic drive between Tulsa and Kansas.

The Chevrolet Suburban celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2010.
It's been a vehicle which has had appeal to the masses for decades.

Fables for Our Time and Famous Poems Illustrated is a 1940 book by James Thurber. Thurber updates some old fables and creates some new ones of his own too. Notably there is 'The Bear Who Could Take It Or Leave It Alone' about a bear who lapses into alcoholism before sobering up and going too far that way. (He used to say 'See what the bears in the back room will have.') Also an updated version of 'Little Red Riding Hood' which ends with the immortal lines, "even in a nightcap a wolf does not look any more like your grandmother than the Metro-Goldwyn lion looks like Calvin Coolidge. So the little girl took an automatic out of her basket and shot the wolf dead. " All the fables have one-line morals. The moral of 'Little Red Riding Hood' is "Young girls are not so easy to fool these days." Another fable concerns a non-materialist chipmunk who likes to arrange nuts in pretty patterns rather than just piling up as many as he can. He is constantly nagged by his chipmunk wife for this.

The Meccano Ltd. company produced a catalog in 1940 for their line of Dinky Toys.
