In 1980 the Flames moved from Atlanta to their new home here in Calgary. They played the first few seasons in the Corral before moving over to the new Saddledome in 1983. The Flames were a big hit in Calgary right from the start. The team gathered a collection of star players and personalities and before long they were a very competitive team. By the time the mid to late 80's had arrived so had The Calgary Flames. The players who played for the team in those days were really something.
This cache is dedicated to the players who played for The Best Team Ever.
