Geocache Description:

Another in the series of caches being placed between Callala Bay and the Myola Spit

"A DAY AT THE BEACH"

The sun on my face,
the sand in my toes,
makes any day a delight.

Hunting for seashells,
and surfing the waves,
makes everything seem alright.

Building a castle,
fit for a king,
makes all my dreams within reach.

Wearing my shades
and getting a tan,
makes a great day at the Beach.

CONGRATULATIONS 😤 and good job seaker200 for another FTF

You can walk, drive or ride your bike to this walk way just inside the entrance of Benton Sands Estate. This lovely boardwalk takes you past ancient Banksia trees. If you are lucky you will see small lizards on the track warming their “solar plates”

If walking from the estate side you will be amazed by the views of the bay when you reach the beach. Jervis Bay is also known for whale watching. During both migrations north and south you will see whales passing by. Sometimes they enter the bay. Most of the whales sighted are humpbacks and it would appear that their numbers increase each year.

If walking from Bicentennial Park over the footbridge, turn left and walk along the beach to the steps at Josh’s Beach Walk. You may be lucky enough to see some dolphins in the bay.

The cache is fragile so handle with care and replace carefully, Thank You!
